The concept of Playtopia began with a few simple questions:

How can we play and have fun while learning, growing, and returning to our most authentic selves?

How can we create a space that nourishes our bodies with healthy food and clean water, invites our hands into the soil, encourages compassionate communication, expands our hearts, moves our bodies, and helps us remember our wholeness.

Can we create a space where we are all students and all teachers, practicing humility and dignity while learning from one another?

A space where we reconnect with our inner child to play more,

feel more, share more, and inspire more.

Sharing land, water, space, practices, and food becomes a living practice of learning how to live in harmony with one another,

with our hearts, and with the Earth.

Playtopia was born in September 2024 as a two-month community gathering, with the intention of diving into natural building. Our first project was the creation of a jungle mud house from scratch, using materials mostly sourced from the land itself.

​

Since then, we have hosted four Playtopia gatherings, each leaving participants deeply impacted by the gifts of living in community. We are now evolving Playtopia into themed community residencies, where we can dive deeper into specific modalities such as permaculture, natural building, regenerative arts, sound and music, conscious content creation, and much more.
