Honouring the Earth, Honouring Ourselves
A spacious and nourishing experience weaving guided sculptural workshops with open creative exploration.Together we’ll co-create a large-scale sculptural shrine at Protopia — a sanctuary for reflection, meditation, journaling, prayer, and creativity — built entirely from earth: sand, straw, and raw site-dug clay. This retreat is more than a workshop — it’s a cocoon, a time to slow down, reconnect with nature, and awaken your creative spirit through making, resting, and community living.
What to Expect
12 days / 14 nights of hands-on, earthen arts immersion
Learn to sculpt with cob and clay plasters in artistic and structural ways
Explore Tadelakt and burnished plaster techniques
Spacious afternoons for personal practice, waterfall swims, or simple rest
Shared meals, community rhythms, and fireside evenings of song, story, and reflection
